Safety at Roadworks
AAPA Q Safety Working Group and the AAPA Q TMR Strategic
Alliance endorsed a project on Traffic accommodation around
worksites to provide guidance to competent safety practioners and
road designers.
The guidelines have been developed based on Queensland and
Nationally acceptable guidelines and will facilitate and promote
alternative traffic management options in the planning and
executive of roadworks projects.
The draft report was released at the TMR and AAPA sponsored
event in December 2013 titled "Safety at Roadworks - changing
responsbilities" and is being circulated for comment and feedback
before it is finalised.
